Nice place to stay on the Westweg. More expensive than other guesthouses but also much fancier and for the price I paid was actually quite reasonable given that it has a pool and sauna

We adored the location. The breakfast was lovely, as was dinner there. The staff were amazingly courteous. We didn’t make a dinner reservation for one of our evenings there and all of the other restaurants in the village were full. Zum was booked as well, but they found a way to fit us in. They were also very kind to the children.

It was quiet and remote but not isolated. Each room has its own patio or balcony. There are three different hotel houses that are apart of the hotel. Each “house” has a nice common room separated by a door to the guest rooms. The staff was really nice and had no problem when we wanted to extend the trip a second day. They spent time letting us know what areas to explore and we actually went to two of their recommendations in one day. The hotel also has private parking but would assume in the on season you may have to reserve it. I absolutely would come back and would recommend to friends. If you are a coffee lover they also include gourmet coffee instead of your normal Keurig Costco brand. They have a super sweet black cat named Nala on property too!
